Following up the first two successful seasons, Fotolia has announced a new concept for the third season: The mix of photography and design. Fotolia has asked a photographer and a designer to join forces and come up with a cooperative art work combining the best of both arts.
The first duo consists of Canadian photographer Eric Paré from Quebec and Michigan based designer Mike Campeau. They have created a beautiful work called “Creating her own future”.
The image – in an original PSD files with layers – can be downloaded from the TEN collection website, starting on Monday, March 10. A teaster video with some background shots can be found on Youtube.
Along with the start of Season 3, Fotolia invites designers and photographers from around the globe to challenge the artists. As of March 12, you will be able to come up with your own interpretation of the concept by using the same files and techniques. The challenge will be open until March 31 and offers many prizes from Wacom tables to Adobe subscriptions as well as the fame of being on public display at the TEN Collection's Facebook fan page.
