Getting started in Stock – new eBook

After 3 years of work growing his income from zero to over $10,000 a year from Microstock, Steve Heap has gathered all his experiences – both good and bad – and created a step by step guide to getting started in stock photography. Other books try to explain the types of photographs that sell, but Steve takes a different line.

He focuses on the nitty gritty day-to-day routine of getting your photographs into good shape for upload, keyworded, described and available for sale on the main stock sites. In a recent interview, Steve said “In my first year in this business, I spent more time trying to figure out the best way of getting images on-line, and reading the many forums on the web to try to pick up the small tips that make all the difference to earnings. I'm trying to save new photographers from that “wasted year!” Steve's book – “Getting Started in Stock”  is available from his blog, Backyard Silver.
