
After 3 years of work growing his income from zero to over $10,000 a year from Microstock, Steve Heap has gathered all his experiences – both good and bad – and created a step by step guide to getting started in stock photography. Other books try to explain the types of photographs that sell, but Steve takes a different line.
He focuses on the nitty gritty day-to-day routine of getting your photographs into good shape for upload, keyworded, described and available for sale on the main stock sites.In a recent interview, Steve said “In my first year in this business, I spent more time trying to figure out the best way of getting images on-line, and reading the many forums on the web to try to pick up the small tips that make all the difference to earnings.
