Regardless of what stock photography site you use, sometimes have images that are cringeworthy. You know, everything from the guy holding two phones up to each ear being tangled by cords or two men in suits staring at a blank computer screen typing away, some stock photos take on a life of their own. I mean, why wouldn’t you have a corporate executive in a three-piece suit crouching down on starting blocks getting ready to race?

Luckily for us, we have the YouTube photography channel DigitalRevTV, which is essentially the “Top Gear” of photography. They recently posted a video, “Stock Photos IRL (in real life),” where host Lok Cheung and some actors parody what is actually going on when these stock photos are being shot. If you’re unfamiliar with DRTV, their videos are often informative and well-balanced camera reviews, but they also create funny content that pokes fun at photographers and photography.
