I’m happy to announce that I will be one of the co-moderators of the Industry Round Table at the CEPIC 2022 Congress from the 25th to the 27th of May in Palma de Mallorca, Spain!
We’ll be discussing all things stock media industry, especially focused on giving the smaller players ideas and tools to dial up their business and keep up with the ever-changing pace of our field.

CEPIC Industry Round Table 2022: Innovation in the Post-Pandemic Visual Communication Business
After being postponed several times since 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CEPIC Congress is back in full force in 2022, and, to no one’s surprise, it will be mostly focused on the post-pandemic landscape in the stock media and visual communication industries.
I’m excited to share with you all that I will be moderating the Industry Round Table on Thursday, May 26 at the CEPIC 2022 (C22) Congress –from May 25 to May 27, 2022– alongside CEPIC President Christina Vaughan. This event will be an open and interactive discussion centered on the commercial side of visual communication for small and medium-sized companies, and on the innovative ways in which old and new business models can thrive in the new state of things. Our program splits into two halves:
- How do “free” stock images make money? – We’ll explore how the big players are turning their free stock photo collections into monetizable traffic, and additional ways to profit from free images, such as upselling licensing upgrades and offering related services
- Avoiding getting stuck in the competitive landscape – In a pond with multiple big fishes, we will discuss actionable strategies and cost-effective resources for small(er) companies to carve out their niches and scale up business in a competitive way

I’m looking forward to sharing all my insights and experiences navigating the industry playground for over two decades.
During that time, I proudly co-created the Microstock Expo, an industry-changing conference that resulted in significant acquisitions and created a broader awareness of the convulsive, changing state of the industry. I also run 4 stock agencies, all with the User at the core of things. Plus, I have been continuously supporting and working closely with the leading stock photo agencies to increase and speed up their sales through my extensive network of publications in 6 languages, powered by our highly productive, remote team across the world.
As a seasoned industry member, I am obsessed with strategic effectiveness and user happiness. I am forever passionate about photography and I fully embrace new tech, including AI, in my constant search for the next big thing in the visual world.
