Shutterstock deepens its involvement in creative AI tech as its first AI-focused virtual conference is announced.
Shutterstock Gen AI Showcase, coming soon this month and open for everyone to register and attend online, is an AI-centered event where experts from Shutterstock and partner companies will share their knowledge and perspective on generative AI technology applied to visual content, as well as present new AI products.
Like this, the leading stock photo agency stays on track with its goal of becoming an all-encompassing creative platform that offers tools and media assets, industry guidance, and insight for businesses and creatives.

A Virtual Summit Focused on Generative AI
The Gen AI Showcase is a 100% virtual event to be held on May 17, 2023, from 3 to 4 pm ET. The registration list is open, and anyone can sign up to attend.
This is the first event of its kind that Shutterstock hosts, and it will include a discussion panel about AI integration in the creative process, a product demo that will show how Shutterstock's AI-powered platform, including Shutterstock Generate and Shutterstock AI Video Generator can improve and speed up your creative workflow, and an informal conversation about the ethics and philosophical questions surrounding AI-generated media.

Top Industry Speakers
The conference will have the participation of Shutterstock executives CPO Meghan Schoen, Product Expert Michael Francello, VP of Brand Skip Wilson, and visual artist and contributor Jahmel Reynolds.
Other speakers include Diya Wynn, Senior Practice Manager, Responsible AI in AWS (Amazon Web Services), and Greg Estes, VP of Corporate Marketing & Developer Programs for Nvidia –who are currently partnering with Shutterstock–.
Suffice it to say that this lineup of experts will bring valuable insight into the present and the future of generative AI for the creative industry.
Attending the Gen AI Showcase is a great way of learning how pros use AI generative models in their creative process and the possibilities of AI image tools in the near future.
