The well known Microstock Group Forum has just published their result of the latest 2013 industry survey as infographic. More than 780 contributors have answered the survey, they are in average 44 years old and from these 780 contributors only 169 are females. Which struck me was the amount of people having a negative outlook on the Microstock industry (52%). Another interesting detail (like every year) is the % income from Shutterstock, which is the agency with 75% of the most income for the contributors. There are much more details about the state of the Microstock industry – so go and check it yourself:
The results of last years are very interesting as well, check out 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008.
