Stream app allows users to view, search and share images from Getty Images

Leading stock photography agency Getty Images has published a dedicated app for media consumers, allowing them to view through curated streams of images published through their services. The app “Stream” is available for the newly released iOS 8 and makes use of Apple’s newest features for iPhone and iPad as well as Apple TV.

Stream can be used to legally share images with friends or through social media to other consumers. This feature adds to the Embed feature that was published last year.

The imagery provided by Getty Images features sports and news relevant topics from around the world, check Getty Images promo code here. It is featured on most newspapers and now can also be watched directly from the curated streams provided by the agency. Getty Images also holds rights to images reaching back to the beginning of photography, including some of the most renown photos known by most people on the planet.

The Stream app can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store.
